Sports Coaches are one of the most important resources available for the development of sport. Quality coaching and coaches are essential to encouraging more people to participate in sport and to achieve high standards of performance. Coaching is the key to ensure that those who participate in sport are given a chance to reach their full potential. Coaching at JBC is available for adults and juniors.
The senior coaches at JBC are approved to coach by Badminton Scotland and are on the official Coaches Register for Badminton Scotland. Our coaches are fully enhanced disclosure checked and are covered by a public liability insurance policy. Registered coaches agree to be bound by the Memorandum and Articles of Badminton Scotland. Our coaches have undertaken a variety of coaching awards, training days and workshops covering first aid, risk assessment, coach development, and safe practices when working with children.
